Founded by Elle, ELLEIRE draws from two opposing landscapes: the inherited permanence of Ireland and the relentless possibility of New York.
The house is rooted in natural materials, longevity and a resistance to disposable fashion. Its approach looks backward as much as forward. To a time when luxury was defined by construction, material, creativity and the ability of a garment to outlive its moment.
Ireland forms the emotional landscape of ELLEIRE. Rain, Atlantic water, saturated green fields, dark skies and an ancient relationship of the sense that generations existed on the same land before her.
New York brings another energy: independence, ambition, experimentation and the freedom to become entirely one's own.
ELLEIRE exists somewhere between the two.
The collections explore femininity through contradiction: romantic and severe, sensual and weathered, delicate and defiant. Clothing is designed not simply for its first season, but with the intention of being kept, worn and remembered.
Elle is an Irish designer based in New York.
Her creative journey started with the act of creation itself. Raised in Ireland, she dedicated her younger years to the arts—drawing, painting, and composing music while drafting her first fashion concepts. Her curiosity pushed past aesthetics into the mechanics of tailoring; she regularly dismantled vintage pieces to analyze their seams before rebuilding them manually.
In her mind, the worlds of fashion and New York were always inextricably linked.
This vibrant city was already woven into her heritage. With multiple generations of her family migrating between Ireland and Manhattan for labor, Gotham was a central character in her childhood lore. Eventually, she traced their footsteps across the Atlantic, relocating from Ireland to New York to forge her own legacy in design.
